On the 29th of April, I went along to my first ever Colour Walk with In Colourful Company!
An all-inclusive community of kindness, encouragement and adventure, In Colourful Company is a group which I was told about by my pal Jenny.
I joined the Facebook group and the event page and loved the whole vibe – it’s all about contributing to the community, sharing and supporting each other and being creative!
The Brighton Colour walk was hosted by Rebecca and Ali and started at Brighton station. I got my name badge and was sooo pleasantly surprised to be presented with a gift bag with the NICEST bits in it! Full of prints, sweets, postcards and more, it was a lovely surprise and a great way to find new creators. Here’s my favourite bits.
Fisherman notebook by Sophie Mutter, Mac & Cheese postcard by Charli Tait and Jurassic Park postcard by Nicola Fernandes
And we set off! We took a winding route through the Laines to all the most colourful spots, and stopped for a group photo. Here we are in all our colourful glory…
The walk was such a wonderful mix of people – families, woofers and everything in-between. Everyone was so friendly and chatty, it made for a great atmosphere.
The pugs making friends!! Follow Peanut on Instagram here.
Me in my Monki dress outside a yellow door which seemed to be popular with everyone on the walk! Whoever owns this house should charge people for photos…
We finished with a stroll along the pier. It was the loveliest day – get involved by joining the Facebook group and go along to the next colour walk near you!
