I’ve written a blog about the food at Craft Beer Co before, but having spotted an offer for a £10 roast on their Instagram, I decided to head back to try the Sunday Menu.
Craft Beer Co’s resident chef, George Antoniou, uses local and seasonal ingredients in the roast dinners. All of the meat is organic and free-range and is supplied by a local butcher in Hove.
I went for the roasted supreme of free-range chicken with lemon and thyme. The presentation was absolutely STUNNING. Like. Have you ever seen a more aesthetically pleasing roast dinner?!?! Shook.
It tasted just as good as it looked. It came with roast potatoes, savoy cabbage, five spice roasted carrots, syrup glazed parsnips, broccoli, green beans, mange tout, Yorkshire pudding, parsnip crisps and red wine gravy.
My god, it truly was an exceptional plate of food. Every element had its own individual taste that was delicious on its own, but also worked when you had a fork full of everything.
The presentation was stunning, the food was incredible and for just £10? It’s an absolute steal. They’ll be doing £10 roasts all summer which I’m SO happy about. I’m dreaming of those syrup glazed parsnips right now. They serve the roasts from midday until they are sold out, but I’d recommend booking a table as it can get pretty busy.
